Ready-Made UK Companies – Established British Companies for Transfer

Ready-made companies – established British companies

Registered UK Ltd companies with a verified history – ready for immediate transfer

A ready-made company (shelf company) is a fully registered British Limited company that exists on the Companies House register but has never traded. You buy an established, clean company with a history – and start doing business immediately, without waiting for a new registration.

Why a ready-made company?

Instant credibility

A company with a 3–10 year history inspires more confidence with banks, payment institutions and business partners than a company registered last week.

Verified clean history

We vet every company we offer against Companies House, HMRC and credit agency databases. No debts, no litigation, no charges.

Fast transfer

We complete the entire transfer – change of directors, shareholders and registered office – within 24–48 hours of signing the agreement. As a registered ACSP we file the changes directly with Companies House.

Frequently asked questions

Why are older companies more expensive?

The age of a company on the register is seen as an indicator of stability and credibility. Banks, payment gateways and business partners prefer companies with a longer history. An older ready-made company therefore makes opening bank accounts and concluding commercial contracts considerably easier.

Is a ready-made company legal?

Yes, entirely. A change of ownership structure is a standard legal act anchored in the UK Companies Act 2006. The key point is that the company must have no previous trading history – which we always verify before offering it to a client.

Can I change the name of a ready-made company?

Yes. The name change is filed directly with Companies House and usually takes 24–48 hours. The age of the company (the original incorporation date) does not change – the register keeps the original date of incorporation, which is the basis of its value.

What guarantee of a clean history do I get?

Before offering any company we run checks at Companies House (no charges, penalties or litigation), with HMRC (no tax liabilities) and with credit agencies. You receive the results of these checks together with the documentation.
